Richard consulted on the creation of the high-performance system in Spain through 2006–2011setting up performance centres in Granollers, and the Olympic Training Centre (CAR) in Barcelona.The training centres produced several very talented youngstersthat have helped with the rise ofSpanish badminton.The RVBA’s Chinese coach Zhu Min headed up the training centre for two years after leaving the RVBA.
